Paul Jones is the Networks and Infrastructure Manager in the Information Systems Services Department in Trinity College Dublin, and leads the networks team in TCD with responsibility for the operations, maintenance and development of the University data network and associated ICT infrastructure.

The TCD network provides wired, wireless, IPT and remote connectivity for more than 20,000 users and over 40,000 devices. Paul joined TCD in 2000 and holds a BSc (Hons) in Computing and a Diploma in Network, Satellite and Mobile Communications. He is currently managing the Campus Network Re-architecture Project which will see a major redesign of the TCD data network and a transition from a Layer 2 to a Layer 3 Topology.
