Danny McFadden
Lecturer in Computing
Danny Mc Fadden has just returned to Ireland after spending 18 months non-stop based in Antarctica. A BSc graduate from Letterkenny I.T., Danny then spent a number of years working for computer services based within Letterkenny I.T. in 2005.

After moving to the private sector he was Involved with a Rural Group Broadband Scheme Phase 2, and as IT Manager rolled out the largest and most successful of the GBS projects in Ireland specifically covering Donegal. During this time he undertook a P.G.Dip in Management Practices with the Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, UCD and over the coming years both guest & part-time lectured for Departments of Science and Engineering in Letterkenny I.T.

Recently returned from his most recent adventures in Antarctica, including a trip to the South Pole, where he was responsible for Communications and I.T. for the largest UK research station in Antarctica where he was based 18 months, Danny will begin this coming academic year as lecturer in computing with Letterkenny I.T. and is undertaking his MSc in Computing in Systems & Software Security.
