Our library has always embraced new systems and technologies to support our communities. This has often involved extensive training exercises to ensure staff can confidently deliver these services. Most recently, our staff underwent training in the digital preservation of our cultural heritage collections.

With gaps in the digital capacity of the HE sector outlined as an issue, we realised we could share our expertise with an audience extending beyond library staff. This presentation outlines how, aligned to the ‘All Aboard’ digital skills framework, we developed a training programme to deliver the basic digital skills associated with our digital preservation work.
