Brian lectures in computer science and information systems in DIT and the University of Dublin having a particular interest in online learning and digitally-enhanced teaching.

Previously, he held technical roles in several multinational technology companies providing solutions in embedded systems, telecommunications and cloud computing.

His other research interests include computer security, artificial intelligence and machine learning. Brian holds a M.Sc. in Information Systems Management from the University of Dublin.
