Bart Busschots is a Systems Administrator with Maynooth University IT Services, having joined the department in 2005. Bart’s focus has been on Moodle, email, and network services including IP address management, DHCP, DNS, and NTP. As part of his work with Maynooth University, Bart has contributed code to a number of open source projects, including Moosh, the Moodle Shell.

Outside of his work with the University Bart is also a tech blogger and podcaster, creating the series Taming the Terminal and Programming by Stealth, and producing and hosting the Let’s Talk Apple and Let’s Talk Photography podcasts. Bart also wrote and maintains the open source Perl module Crypt::HSXKPasswd, a human-friendly strong password generator.
