Cian has worked in the IT and Call Centre industry since 2000.

For several years prior to this he held several sales and customer service positions in a number of Multi-national organisations. In 2004 he became CTO of Momentum Marketing (now FCIPS), a large multi-channel call centre in Ireland. Responsible for all aspects of the IT, systems and service delivery he quickly realised that there were many areas that could be improved and many areas that could benefit from the development and introduction of new systems, applications and infrastructures.

Cian was instrumental in the decision to create Intellicom Ireland in 2005 as a vehicle for the design and development of a new Asterisk based Telephony and Call Centre solution to replace the call centre traditional technologies – all of which were expensive and complex to maintain and upgrade. Cian became one of the country’s first dCAP (Digium Certified Asterisk Professional) and has built up a unique and formidable knowledge of the ‘Voice’ industry, technologies and associated business process. He is one of the country’s foremost authorities on Multi-Channel Contact Centre infrastructures across all technology platforms including traditional TDM and Modern IP / VoIP Unified Communications solutions. In 2011 Intellicom Ireland was acquired by Complete Telecom and Cian oversaw the company's further development as a division of Complete Telecom.

In early 2013 he was then involved with the management buyout of the division and re-establishment of Intellicom Ireland as a standalone company once again. Cian’s vision and understanding of the telecoms world has been the source of many international consulting contracts in countries such as Zambia, Bosnia, Romania, UEA, USA and UK.
