LT06: Hybrid Cloud QoS- The Business Perspective
Hybrid Clouds performance is assessed based on the SLA Quality of Service defined parameters. Cloud SLAs act as a catalyst to build and develop trust in a cloud ecosystem between vendors and tenants. Despite SLA QoS descriptions, the tenants fail to achieve the anticipated performance and return-on-investment. This happens due to a lack of alignment between the business-IT and cloud quality standards and metrics.
The author discusses a Cloud Trio Quality model which may assist in overcoming the current cloud QoS limitations and help the tenants in strategizing the cloud model successfully.
